19/11/2013 Links to NHS-based etutorials

Links to the NHS-based etutorials to help you to use the HDAS databases and find NHS ejournals have been added to the Healthcare Resources page.

15/04/2013 Healthcare Resources Updates

The Healthcare Resources page has been updated to include new NICE resources and provide simpler links to the NHS Athens resources.

28/03/2013 Update to Department of Health web address

The Department of Health has changed its web address. This has now been reflected in the website in the following sections:

• Healthcare Information Resources
• Current Awareness

If anyone does spot any errors then please let Cheryl, the eresources librarian know.

Links to relevant Social Care resources have been added to the Healthcare Resources webpage.

04/01/2012 Refresh front page

The Health Library homepage has been refreshed:

• Christmas opening times message has been removed; 
• the dynamed promotion has been removed [Dynamed can be accessed from the Healthcare Resources page]; 
• the Oxford handbooks promotion has been removed [Oxford handbooks can be accessed from the ebooks page]
• the social networks links have been moved to the top of the home page

18/11/2011 Helplinks added to Health Resources

Links to the help pages have been added for Dynamed and BMJ Case Reports on the Health Information Resources page.

15/11/2011 Dynamed made available

Links to the Dynamed database and associated help files have been added to the Health Information Resources page and the Online Guides section. Dynamed is an evidence-based clinical reference tool which is now available to our UHNS Athens users.

10/06/2011 Health Information Resources Update

The Health Information Resources page has been updated. This is to include the new NHS Evidence links and to promote Health Library resources more prominently.

16/05/2011 BMJ Case Reports link update

The BMJ Case Reports promotion box has been updated so that it links to the Case Reports login page.

10/05/2011 Remove Health Information Resources Links

The NHS Evidence search box has been removed from the Health Information Resources page as it no longer works. Links to NHS Specialist Collections and Clinical Knowledge Summaries have also been removed as these are no longer current resources.

09/12/2010 Health Information Resources Athens links

The links to the NHS Athens resources have been changed on the Health Information Resources page. Users now have an option to link to the Athens login screen or to go strainght thru to the resource if they have already logged on.

The Health Information Resources web page has been updated to include a link to the Literature Searching Sites page, thus providing healthcare users with easy access to all recommended resources.
