There have been a number of updates to account for the interface changes to the NHS Athens self-registration form, delivered by NICE / Athens / Eduserv:

The Healthcare Resources page has been updated to include new NICE resources and provide simpler links to the NHS Athens resources.

05/11/2012 Usernames to access eResources

There are now 2 new etutorials to help you to get the right username and password to access our eresources:

• Keele Access to eResources - for Keele users; learn how to use your Keele username and password to access eresources off-campus
• NHS Athens Registration - for NHS users; learn how to register for an NHS Athens username and password to access NHS-based eresources

19/10/2012 Update to Quick Links

I have added a "Keele eAccess" link. This will take you to the Keele Campus Library off-campus access page. Here Keele students can more easily get details of how to login in to off-campus electronic resources.
The Athens link has now been renamed as NHS Athens to emphasise that Athens access is now used only by NHS users.

18/07/2012 Athens Registration Update

The Athens page has been updated. Students on placement can register online for an NHS Athens account if they have an NHS-based email account.

09/02/2012 NHS Athens information updated

I have updated the NHS Athens page to now include information about the new NHS-HE Athens accounts for students. I've altered the layout slightly to include tabs for each type of Athens account, rather than have a long page of text.

22/11/2011 Form for NHS Athens requests from students

A new form has been added to allow students on placement with NHS organisations to request an NHS Trust Athens account.

22/09/2011 Keele Access Changes

The Athens page has been updated to include information about the new access rules for electronic resources.

22/08/2011 Update guides & pages for new Keele sign-on details

Keele will be switching to "single sign-on" technology to allow students access to electronic resources. The online guides and web pages that refer to this have been updated to reflect the change.

The Athens page has been updated to reflect the recent NHS Evidence changes.

15/04/2011 Athens News

The blog released by Athens Eduserv detailing any changes or maintenance to the Athens system has been added to the Athens page.

The Athens page has been updated to inform NHS users to keep their email address up-to-date.

More links to tutorials and help pages have been added to the Online Tutorials and Support pages, including for:

• Databases - NHS Databases
• Databases - NHS Evidence
• Databases - Pubmed

09/12/2010 Health Information Resources Athens links

The links to the NHS Athens resources have been changed on the Health Information Resources page. Users now have an option to link to the Athens login screen or to go strainght thru to the resource if they have already logged on.

The Athens page has been updated to include instructions on changing NHS organisation.

23/11/2010 Updated Athens Guide uploaded

The Athens guide has been amended to include the new My Athens web address and the helpful links have been updated.
